Google Pixel 2- Should you upgrade?

And Google strikes back! The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are almost here, and they are quite different from each other! For months now, we had an idea of what the Pixel 2 series would bring, and most of these rumours are true: two phones with different screen size and different aspect ratios.

Until these phones are out on the 19th of October, you can get an insight on whether you should upgrade your phone… or not! Now, as long as you have a simple mobile phone which connects to the internet, you can still have some good times playing bingo online! At the top online bingo site- Lucky Pants Bingo, you can connect and play either great online slots or top bingo games through your mobile phone. Yes, this bingo site suits all as it is totally responsive- adaptable to any type of screens!

Google says that these phones are simpler and smarter, thanks to Assistant Capabilities. They are also more powerful, with new features and improved cameras. Both phones consist of Snapdragon 835s, 4GB of Ram and the storage varies from 64GB to 128GB, and the cameras are single rear 12MPs. The good news is that both phones are waterproof, but here comes the bad news- they do not have headphone jacks. None of these phones have wireless charging, but their sides can be squeezed so that Google Assistant can be activated. Even if these phones do not operate with Android 8.1, they have new things in them- which includes an embedded eSIM to connect to Project Fi, without a required sim card.

When it comes to the design, the Google Pixel 2 is made of a 5-inch, 1080p AMOLED display. Yes, that’s a standard design, but there’s a new ‘always-on display’ feature. This new display feature shows the time, date, email and messages notifications and any reminders on the display, without even having to unlock or wake the phone. Now, if you’re listening to music, this phone can detect the tune and display it on the always-on display. You don’t even need internet connection for the tune to be recognised, as the phone use an on-device music database.

The body of the phone is made of metal but have a chunk of glass on the top rear of the mobile phone, where sits the camera and flash. On the righthand side of the phone, there’s the power/lock and volume keys. And on the base, you will see the USB-C port. The newest add-on is at the back of phone- there’s a centralized fingerprint scanner… and it is said to be the fastest ever!

The new Pixels will be available in only three colours though. The Pixel XL comes only in either Black or Black & White (Penguin phone!). As for the Pixel 2, it comes in Black, Clearly White or Kinda Blue. If your choice has already been made, you can place your order! Or you can wait for a rumoured third series of Google’ Pixel!
